The National Education Policy (NEP) emphasizes the holistic development of youth, focusing on both increasing the Gross Enrollment Ratio and enhancing skill development to support the objectives of Atmanirbhar Bharat. In alignment with this vision, our institution, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), has implemented several initiatives aimed at enriching both knowledge and soft skills among students. We have introduced a range of skill development activities designed to bolster various competencies. These include spot reading, language skills enhancement, and competitions such as “Build Your Confidence with English,” which aim to improve communicative abilities. These initiatives are crucial for equipping students with the skills necessary not only to secure and retain employment but also to excel in a professional environment. Our career counselors assist students in effectively incorporating these skills into their resumes. Additionally, we offer courses in yoga to foster life skills among students, providing them with broad opportunities in the job market and enhancing their employability. Our curriculum is strategically designed to address the practical demands of various careers, including opportunities for entrepreneurship, internships, and experiential learning through certificate programs, add-on courses, and fieldwork. Our Career Counselling and Placement Cell, under the guidance of the IQAC, organizes workshops, training camps, and seminars aimed at developing professionalism and a passion for skill acquisition. We also prioritize practical experiences by collaborating with businesses and organizations in the skill sector. These partnerships are integral to providing students with hands-on experiences and mentoring sessions focused on skill development to enhance employability prospects. Our institution places a strong emphasis on skill development, working with reputable academic and business organizations to foster a proactive and forward-thinking approach. Additionally, life skills activities, such as gymnasium workouts and yoga classes, contribute to students’ mental strength, health, and positive outlook. By integrating these diverse skill-building activities and fostering a supportive environment for practical learning, we aim to equip our students with the tools they need to succeed in their careers and contribute effectively to society.
